Different testing of cosmetic hose packaging

There are two kinds of methods for sealing testing of the cosmetic hose, positive pressure method and angular pressure method. The positive pressure method applies pressure to the inside of the hose to test its compressive resistance, observe the sealing degree and oil leakage index, so as to achieve the purpose of testing its integrity and sealing strength. The negative pressure method is usually performed in water. The method is to put the right amount of water into the vacuum tank, put the hose into the vacuum tank and under the pressure plate, and completely immerse it in water: vacuum the vacuum chamber, so that the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the hose. If bubbles come from the tube,this means that the pipe is not sealed well.


There are some other necessary testing of Cosmetic Packaging Tubes.


(1)Inter laminar peel strength test

The inter layer stripping strength refers to the bonding strength between the layers of the co-extruded hose or composite hose. If the strength is too low, it is easy to stratify, leading to the leakage of the contents. The tester is important to carry out high strength stripping work to ensure the tightness of the test


(2) Tensile strength and elongation at break test

Tensile strength refers to the large stress value that a material can withstand before breaking, and elongation at break refers to the percentage of elongation when the material breaks. By testing these two indexes, the cosmetic hose packaging can be effectively solved due to the insufficient mechanical strength of the materials used in the external force damage and fracture. The two tests were carried out on a tensile testing machine.


(3) Drop performance test

Drop performance test is a test method to evaluate the impact resistance of hose materials. It can investigate the toughness of the material used in the hose, effectively avoid the use of hose in the circulation of cosmetics due to the lack of toughness of the material and damage. The common detection method is that after the hose is filled with cosmetics, the hose head down and the hose tail down are respectively used at a specific height. If the pipe bursts, it indicates that the toughness of the material used in the hose does not meet the requirements. For composite hose, the side seal edge should be downward drop performance test. In addition it can also be used as a way to test the toughness of hose materials by inflating the closed pipe and holding it at a certain pressure for a certain amount of time.
